Brief testimony:
The Lord saved me at age 20 after speaking to a friend who's a pastor about the way I was living life. The Holy Spirit convicted me of my sinfulness and after living for myself, I repented of my sins in my living room. I attended church since the age of nine, yet I didn't KNOW who God is and how depraved humanity is. Now I KNOW I will one day see my Heavenly Father.
Favorite food(s):
Moroccan, Indian and Cuban
Musical influences:
Flamenco, Sha'abi, Rai, Caribbean, ahhh there's too many!
Hobbies:
Poetry, writing, DANCING/singing (especially Flamenco), drawing and reading.
Brief Bio:
I was born and raised in Los Angeles. My family is crazy... Škidding! Naw, I amhankful for them because the Lord has made me who I am because of them. Since I was a child, they've exposed me to all different types of cultures and music. They are hilarious and loving... ŠAND God continually teaches me to be patient through them... ha ha ha!!!
How did you begin doing music?:
I have always been singing since my childhood, playing the piano, or dancing. I began taking it seriously right after I graduated from High School, being involved with musicians, singing in bands, and getting an education in music. I decided I didn't want to do it after my salvation, but the Lord pulled me back into music and prepared me for where I am now.
What's your favorite verse in the Bible and why?:
Romans 8:28. It is a verse that has kept me encouraged through the most difficult times, has reminded me of all that Christ has done in my life, and gives me hope and peacefulness in my heart knowing that "All things will work together" for those He has called.
What is your philosophy of stage ministry? Is there any one message that you always want to leave with your audience?:
YES! Jesus is Lord and without Him we are nothing! He deserves all glory and any stage ministry should not be a show, but we must be vessels, light to a dark world, and ministers.
What are the three things you enjoy most about touring? And least?:
I enjoy meeting brothers and sisters from all over the world, listening to their testimonies and what the Lord has done in their lives. The Lord always teaches me something though this and I love that sweet fellowship! The least: Not sleeping.
Why do you do music? What is your primary goal?:
I do music because this is where the Lord has placed me. My goal is to let the Lord do His will in me and through any type of art I do.
